IMATA Protest
The IMATA Demonstration will be today December 5,
1:00pm – 4:00pm
Seaport Hotel – Boston
1 Seaport Lane
For map and directions, CLICK HERE and then click on “IMATA Demo.”
Weather forecast calls for partly cloudy skies with temperatures ranging from 34° F to 36° F. There is only a 20% chance of precipitation; therefore, trainers will have a difficult time trying to drown us as they drowned dolphins at The Cove in THIS VIDEO.
Make sure your batteries are charged for your camcorders, cameras and cell phones.

REMEMBER: This is a peaceful protest, so leave your flame throwers, machine guns, rocket launchers and catapults at home.
With eleven of you, I make a dozen. With ninety-nine of you, I make a hundred. But I cannot do it without each and every one of you. You matter! Never give up! For the Dolphins.
The following is from Protest Against the International Marine Animal Trainers Conference on facebook.
The connection between the live trade of dolphins for human entertainment and the dolphin slaughter drives cannot be denied. Live dolphins can fetch up to $300,000 USD. The dolphins not chosen are typically slaughtered for their meat. The hands of the trainers are every bit as bloody as the hands of the hunters. During the selection process for a life of captivity, dolphins are tortured, brutalized and even mistakenly killed by the trainers involved. Sea Shepherd recently caught these events on video.

Please join us in Boston, MA on December 5, 2010 at 1:00 for the International Marine Animal Trainers’ Association (IMATA) 38th annual conference at the Seaport Hotel. For more information about the conference see http://boston2010.imata.org/index.php
Bring signs, banners and your voice. Dolphins belong in the wild, not in a tank. A life of captivity is no life at all!
